Germinal have kept the three points from their suspended match against Alvarado, and must pay a fine equivalent to 100 general tickets for three fixtures.
According to SuperDepor.com, the Interior Disciplinary Tribunal issued its ruling following Sunday’s abandonment at El Fortín de Rawson in the seventh round of Torneo Federal "A" 2026, Zone four. The result stands at 1-0, decided by a Gerónimo Núñez strike.
Kick-off was delayed to 15.15 after an unauthorised pre-match display of fireworks, smoke bombs and flares. Following the removal of materials and fans who had entered without permission, further objects from the home end initially prevented play.
Once under police control, the game began but only one minute was completed before supporters again threw lit pyrotechnics and paper rolls from the fence, prompting a stoppage of about three minutes. Play then resumed.
At 90 minutes, five were added, then a further minute, but before it elapsed more smoke bombs and fireworks were launched from another stand, endangering players and officials. One device passed the second assistant’s head, causing eye irritation, and another landed at the referee’s feet. With under a minute remaining, Fernando Marcos suspended the match.
Individual bans followed. Germinal’s Federico Cárcamo, sent off from the bench, and Ignacio Terán, dismissed after the final whistle, each received one match. For Alvarado, Tomás Fernández was banned for one match and head coach Pablo Martel for two.
