Corinthians will be without right-back Gi Fernandes for Monday's Brasileirão Feminino meeting with Mixto at Canindé.
The club said in a statement that the 21-year-old has a strain in her right gluteal muscle. She is not in the squad for the 12th-round fixture, which kicks off at 21:00.
Four others remain sidelined. Agustina Barroso has a muscle injury in her left leg, Juliana Passari is in transition after a right thigh muscle issue, Thaís Regina is in transition after a fracture of the left fibula, and Rillary is in transition after a ligament strain in her right elbow.
Gi started Thursday's 2-2 draw with Santos in the Paulistão Feminino and played almost the entire match. She was replaced by Ivana Fuso at 42 minutes of the second half, and Fuso will start on Monday.
Her standing under head coach Emily Lima has been low. Last week Lima criticised her, questioning her courage and style of play, and stated she does not want a full-back who plays backwards.
This season Gi has 11 appearances, 10 of them starts. She has largely been back-up to Fuso, a natural forward now operating at right-back.
Corinthians are aiming to reclaim top spot in the league. They sit third on 25 points, behind Palmeiras on 27 and São Paulo on 26, both of whom have already played this round.
