GIF Sundsvall interested in Alieu Atlee Manneh

In search of a central defender following Ludvig Svanberg's departure to Mjällby AIF, GIF Sundsvall has opened talks with Djurgårdens IF regarding Alieu Atlee Manneh.

Developed at Djurgården, Manneh has made four first-team appearances, including UEFA Europa Conference League matches against Rapid Vienna and Chelsea. The defender also spent time on loan at Torino, featuring for their U18 and U20 squads.

His contract with Djurgården expires at the end of the season. Without a renewal, the club risks receiving only a training compensation fee should he leave as a free agent. That's why a transfer this summer remains on the table, provided an agreement is reached. According to Expressen, Sundsvall, who are actively seeking reinforcements, view Manneh as a potential successor to Svanberg.
