The Girona FC B will debut in the 2026-2027 league on September 6, 2025, with a challenging away game at UD Barbastro's field, while they will close the regular league on May 9, 2026, visiting UD Logroñés B's field. The first home game will be a week later in Vidreres against SD Tarazona.

The Spanish Football Federation has modified the geographical distribution of the groups, and the Girona reserve team leaves behind the usual trips to the Valencian Community and the Balearic Islands to be placed in Group 2, along with teams from Catalonia, Aragon, Navarre, and La Rioja.

The big match for Girona fans will be the derby against UE Olot. The two teams will face each other first in Girona and later at the Municipal Stadium of Olot in the second round.

One of the main attractions of the calendar will be the matches against the other major Catalan reserve teams in the group.

The clash against the Barça reserve team will first take place at the Joan Gamper Sports City and will be resolved in Girona territory in the final stretch of the championship.

The first derby against the Espanyol reserve team will be played in Girona, while the return match will take place at the beginning of February.

Girona B will face a group with historic rivals such as Terrassa FC, Reus Reddis, SD Logroñés, Osasuna B, or Tudelano, in a 34-match season that will run from September to May.
