Gladbach goalkeeper Tiago Pereira Cardoso joins RAAL La Louvière on loan | OneFootball

The club said in a statement that Tiago Pereira Cardoso will spend the 2026/27 season in Belgium with top-flight side RAAL La Louvière on a one-year loan.

The 20-year-old made his competitive first-team debut for Gladbach in March 2025 and has featured five times in the Bundesliga.

Sporting director Rouven Schröder described Cardoso as a regular for Luxembourg and noted that, despite his age, he has already shown he is capable of playing in the Bundesliga.

He called a year of regular football in a strong league a logical and important next step for the goalkeeper.

Schröder added that this approach has worked very well for the club before, particularly with goalkeepers, and they hope it will help his development.
