After joining Borussia Mönchengladbach on an initial loan from Malmö FF during the winter transfer window, Hugo Bolin has now signed a permanent contract with the Bundesliga outfit.
Die Fohlen confirmed on Wednesday that the Swedish international has put pen to paper on a contract until 2030.
“Hugo is a player who has integrated brilliantly from day one and has completely embraced Borussia! He works on himself with focus, and in his first appearances he has shown that he can bring us a lot of joy in the future,” said Gladbach sporting director Rouven Schröder.
“I feel really comfortable here,” added Bolin.
“I love the energy this big club radiates, I love the Bundesliga with its large, packed stadiums. Recently, I got to experience two home wins at Borussia-Park and celebrate with the team and the fans – that makes me hungry for more, and I’m excited to continue developing here at Borussia.”
So far, the 22-year-old winger has featured six times for Gladbach, racking up an assist.
