Borussia Mönchengladbach are prepared to consider offers for Nico Elvedi amid links to Leeds United, according to Rheinische Post.

Sporting director Rouven Schröder praised the defender’s World Cup displays.

The centre-back has one year remaining on his contract, so a summer move could be possible.

Schröder added that the transfer market has not really started moving yet and said he is curious to see how it looks after the World Cup final.

Elvedi, 29, is a Switzerland international.
