AC Milan have completed the signing of Gonçalo Ramos from Paris Saint-Germain in a club-record deal, bringing an end to the Portuguese striker’s three-year spell in the French capital.
The 25-year-old has signed a long-term contract at San Siro running until 2031, with reports suggesting the Serie A giants will pay in the region of €74 million, making him the most expensive acquisition in Milan’s history.
Ramos surpasses compatriot Rafael Leão, who joined the Rossoneri for €49.5m in 2019, underlining the scale of Milan’s investment in their new centre-forward. The move also represents one of the most significant striker signings in Serie A in recent years.
During his time at PSG, Ramos collected an impressive trophy haul, including multiple Ligue 1 titles and domestic cups, as well as European honours such as the Champions League and UEFA Super Cup. He scored 45 goals in 131 appearances across all competitions.
Despite his output, he struggled to fully cement a starting role in Paris and now departs in search of a more central attacking responsibility under Ruben Amorim at Milan.
