Gosens ‘to stay’ at Fiorentina, turning down Nottingham Forest | OneFootball

Gianluca Di Marzio, Fabrizio Romano and Gianluigi Longari report that Robin Gosens has chosen to remain with Fiorentina, rejecting Nottingham Forest’s approach, to help their relegation fight.

Forest were said on Sunday to have opened talks over a last-minute move for the former Atalanta and Inter wing-back, 18 months into his Fiorentina stay.

Fiorentina endured a dreadful start to the 2025-26 campaign, dropping to the bottom of the Serie A table before Christmas.

They did not win their first league match until December 21.

There has been an upturn at the start of 2026, yet Paolo Vanoli’s side remain 18th with 17 points from 23 matches.
