Grégoire Margotton, TF1’s voice of Les Bleus, will contribute to France Inter’s World Cup 2026 output from 11 June to 19 July, with the tournament staged in the United States, Mexico and Canada. He is not part of TF1’s coverage this summer.
According to L'Équipe, he will feature in selected editions of the 17:00 daily show, hosted Monday to Friday by Matthieu Noël, then by Mehdi Maïzi from Friday to Sunday, before switching to every day from 25 June.
He will also be on air for two France group-stage nights, around France-Irak on 22 June, which kicks off at 23:00 in France, and France-Norvège on 26 June at 21:00.
Maïzi’s World Cup special of “À la régulière”, alongside comedian Ngiraan Fall, will accompany the France live broadcasts with discussion, guests, quizzes and anecdotes.
Margotton previously worked at Canal+, and remains the lead France commentator on TF1. In France, the tournament is being shown free-to-air on M6.
