Grêmio have four starters nearing contract expiry, with captain Arthur's deal up in June and Pavon, Amuzu and Carlos Vinicius contracted to December. According to Globo.com, renewal talks are expected to pick up soon.
Club officials are cautious on Arthur's future, with no sign of progress. He has said he wants to stay at the Tricolor, though a return to Juventus, where he is tied until June 2027, is not ruled out.
Pavon, Amuzu and Carlos Vinicius can sign pre-contracts from July if no agreement is reached before. A club source has denied talks have begun and said movement will come at the appropriate moment.
Willian, a frequent substitute, is under contract to December 2026. The 37-year-old has played 16 matches this season, six from the start, and ranks 10th in the squad for minutes.
Carlos Vinicius' renewal is viewed as a priority and is not expected to be difficult. He leads the Brasileirão with six goals and has 11 for Grêmio this season.
Signed last July, Vinicius has a clause extending his deal at least to the end of 2027 if he features in 60% of matches. He has played all 19 games so far. Another clause, a 2026 World Cup call-up by Brazil or Portugal, is not expected to be triggered.
Marcos Rocha is out of contract at year end. The full-back arrived to start in 2025 and became a dressing-room leader, but has fallen out of favour under Luís Castro and has not featured for 10 matches.
