According to Sky Germany, Hamburger SV are set to make Albert Grønbæk’s loan permanent, with a fee of just over €4.5 million agreed with Stade Rennais.

Only the final details are being ironed out, with Grønbæk in line to sign a contract until 2030.

He spent the second half of the 2025/26 season on loan at HSV.

Grønbæk finished strongly, scoring once and providing two assists in his last three Bundesliga matches.
