Real Madrid will entertain Celta Vigo at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium this Sunday night as they look to secure a good result at home in La Liga. Los Blancos managed to earn an impressive 3-0 win over Athletic Bilbao recently, which should keep them in high spirits going into this game.

Xabi Alonso will opt for the 4-3-3 formation and is expected to make some tweaks to his first team for this contest. Both Arda Guler and Raul Asencio could play from the start of this game.

Defence

Thibaut Courtois will feature in between the sticks for Los Blancos after keeping a clean sheet in his last outing. Eder Militao will operate alongside Antonio Rudiger at the heart of Real Madrid‘s defence as they look to keep a solid shape on the defensive third of the pitch.

Midfield

Jude Bellingham, Aurelien Tchouameni and Federico Valverde will make up Real Madrid’s midfield. Their main focus would be to win the 50-50 duels at the centre of the park and orchestrate some decent chances in and around the Celta Vigo penalty area.

Dani Ceballos will have to be content with a place on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the second 45 minutes if required.

Attack

Vinicius Junior will get the nod to shine as the left-winger, while Arda Guler hopes to make a difference from the right flank. Both of them would have to carry most of the creative burden for Los Blancos out in the wide areas.

Kylian Mbappe will spearhead Real Madrid’s attack down the middle. He would be keen on putting in another productive performance after scoring twice versus Athletic Bilbao recently.
