Erling Haaland was at it again with a late brace in Manchester City’s 5-1 thrashing of Burnley, and in doing so, he ticked off yet more records.
The big Norwegian has now moved past Ole Gunnar Solskjær as the highest-scoring player from his country in Premier League history. Haaland sits on 93 goals from just 103 appearances, nudging ahead of Solskjær’s long-standing tally of 91.
His strikes also propelled him up the Etihad scoring charts. He’s now found the net 52 times in only 51 league matches at our ground - edging beyond Raheem Sterling, who scored 51 goals.
The only man still above him is Sergio Agüero, who racked up a stunning 106 in 142 games at the stadium.
Haaland is currently leading the scoring charts this season as well, with eight goals from six league games.
