Real Madrid and Manchester City have named their starting XIs for the second leg of the Champions League last 32 this evening, with some notable absentees.
Los Blancos hold a one goal advantage heading into the return leg of the tie at the Bernabeu as they look to recover from a poor Champions League league phase, leaving the reigning Premier League champions on the verge of elimination.
And in a shock twist, Pep Guardiola has opted to leave Erling Haaland on the bench after he went off injured in the win over Newcastle United, with Omar Marmoush leading the line.
Ancelotti remains without several of his defenders through injury, but Antonio Rudiger has been passed fit and partners Asencio, allowing Aurelien Tchouameni to move into midfield, while Eduardo Camavinga drops out.
Manchester City XI: Ederson, Khusanov, Stones, Dias, Gvardiol, Nico, Gundogan, Bernardo, Foden, Savinho, Marmoush
Real Madrid XI: Courtois, Valverde, Rudiger, Asencio, Mendy, Tchouameni, Ceballos, Bellingham, Rodrygo, Mbappé, Vini Jr
