Haaland 'to voice' Viking in animated film ViQueens | OneFootball

Erling Haaland is set to make his screen debut, with the Manchester City striker to voice a Viking named Haaland in ViQueens, an animated film by Norwegian director Harald Zwart, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

He will lend his voice to an animated version of himself. The film is described as an adventure comedy set in a world of fearless female warriors, icy fjords and Silk Road mythology.

Zwart said Haaland’s involvement is an exciting prospect for an international Viking adventure, describing him as a global Viking icon who is powerful, fearless and distinctly Norwegian, and adding that his presence brings unexpected energy and authenticity to the story.

The Norwegian has 26 goals in 34 Premier League matches this season.

ViQueens is due for release at the end of the year and will also feature singer Rita Ora.
