Post– Match Data

Haiti secured a 2-0 victory over Bermuda, a result that allowed the Caribbean side to end a difficult run and conclude its participation in the Final Round of the Concacaf Women’s U-17 Qualifiers on a positive note. The win also reaffirmed Haiti’s advantage in the head-to-head series against the Bermudian side.

The victory snapped a three-match losing streak for Haiti in the competition, following defeats against Mexico (12-0 on April 5, 2025), Puerto Rico (3-1 on March 17, 2026), and the United States (9-0 on March 19, 2026). It also marked the second win in as many matches against Bermuda in tournament history, following the 4-1 victory on April 2, 2025, and now the 2-0 result on March 22, 2026.

The match also produced important individual milestones for Haiti. Miya Larco, Adjani Kamanzi-Mondestin, and Nya Jean-Baptiste each celebrated by scoring their first goal in tournament history, signaling the emergence of new attacking talent within the nation’s youth program.

Despite the victory, the 2026 edition reflected the challenges Haiti faced throughout the competition. The team finished with three goals scored, the third-lowest total in its Final Round history, only ahead of the 2013 edition (1 goal) and the 2010 edition (0 goals). Meanwhile, the 12 goals conceded tied for the third-highest total allowed in a single edition, matching the mark from 2010, and trailing only the totals recorded in 2024 (19 goals conceded) and 2025 (21 goals conceded).

With the result, Haiti concluded its campaign in third place in the group, posting a record of GP-3 W-1 D-0 L-2, GF-3 GA-12, 3 points, showing resilience after a challenging start to the round.

For Bermuda, the tournament ended with difficult statistics. The team recorded its 12th consecutive defeat in competition history and maintains a record of losing every match played in the Final Round. Bermuda finished in fourth place in the group (last place), without goals scored or points earned, with a record of GP-3 W-0 D-0 L-3, GF-0 GA-30.

Additionally, this marked the second edition in which Bermuda completed its campaign without scoring a goal, following the same outcome in 2022, underscoring the ongoing challenges the team faces at the regional level.
