After suffering a 4-1 defeat against Manchester City, Niko Kovač is expected to make changes to his Borussia Dortmund squad for their Matchday 10 Bundesliga clash against Hamburg.
Julian Brandt missed the game against City with a muscular problem, and it’s not yet known if he will be fit enough for Saturday’s game. Dortmund will also be without Nico Süle and with Waldemar Anton given a potential rest, Aarón Anselmino is likely to get the nod in defence alongside Nico Schlotterbeck and Ramy Bensebaini.
There should also be four attacking changes with Yan Couto, Pascal Groß, Jobe Bellingham and Carney Chukwuemeka replacing Julian Ryerson, Marcel Sabitzer, Felix Nmecha and Maximilian Beier.
As for Hamburg, Yussuf Poulsen is likely to start in place of Fabio Vieira who is suspended after being sent off in their 4-1 defeat against 1. FC Koln last weekend, meaning Nicolai Remberg is likely to start alongside Sambi Lokonga in a midfield four, with Merlin Polzin switching to a back three.
Hamburg: Heuer Fernandes – Capaldo, Vuskovic, Elfadli – Gocholeishvili, Lokonga, Remberg, Muheim – Philippe, Poulsen, Dompé
Dortmund: Kobel – Anselmino, Schlotterbeck, Bensebaini – Couto, Groß, Bellingham, Svensson – Adeyemi, Chukwuemeka – Guirassy
