Hansi Flick endorses Barcelona move for Man United star | OneFootball

Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has given his full backing to a potential January deal for Manchester United star Marcus Rashford.

That’s according to Diario Sport, who have on Monday provided the latest on the situation.

The name of frontman Rashford has of course returned to the headlines in Catalunya’s capital with a bang over the course of recent days.

This comes after confirmation was forthcoming that Barcelona have repositioned themselves firmly in the race for the signature of the England international.

Rashford is expected to depart Old Trafford on loan this month, with Deco and co. therefore exploring the financial parameters of a deal.

And as much, it has today been revealed, comes with the full backing of Blaugrana boss Hansi Flick.

The German tactician remains of the opinion that his squad is in need of reinforcements in the attacking third, with Rashford appreciated for his ability to take to the pitch either from out wide or in a more central role.

As per a report from Sport:

‘Hansi Flick has already endorsed the signing of the striker. In fact, he tried to get Rashford’s services when he was coaching Bayern Munich.’
