Hansi Flick in surprise Barcelona transfer admission ahead of deadline | OneFootball

Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick provided a somewhat surprising response, after being drawn on the club’s plans for the final days of the transfer window on Saturday.

This comes with the German having admitted that, as far as he is aware, further signings cannot be ruled out.

Barcelona have of course endured a somewhat quiet summer to date in terms of new signings.

The sole addition of any note when it comes to fee was that of Joan García, with Roony Bardghji having arrived for a cut-price sum, and Marcus Rashford on a season-long loan.

On the other hand, a whole host of exits have been forthcoming, including the likes of Pablo Torre, Iñigo Martínez, Ansu Fati and Pau Víctor.

Speaking to the media on Saturday, the subject of potential further arrivals in his squad over the days ahead was in turn put to the aforementioned Hansi Flick.

And Barca’s headmaster refused to rule out as much, in responding:

“A signing in the last days of window? Honestly, I have no idea. The transfer market is crazy.”
