Hansi Flick responds to Real Madrid president Pérez’s Barcelona title jibe | OneFootball

Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick was blunt in his reply to a question on the inflammatory recent comments laid out by Florentino Pérez regarding the Blaugrana.

Real Madrid’s president has of course dominated the headlines across the Spanish media over the last 48 hours.

This comes after Pérez called a sudden press conference, during which he ranted and raved about a whole host of high-profile topics.

One such subject came in the form of Barcelona’s latest La Liga title triumph, which the Spanish patron insisted his club were ‘robbed’ of:

“I’ve won 7 Champions Leagues and 7 La Liga titles… I should have won 14 La Ligas but we were robbed. This season, they robbed us of 18 points in La Liga.“

Speaking during his own exchange with the media this week, it therefore came as little surprise when the subject of Pérez’s comments was put to the aforementioned Hansi Flick.

And the German tactician provided a firm but effective reply, in simply explaining:

“I think this is something that does not deserve a response.”
