FC Barcelona continued with their winning run in La Liga as they beat Getafe in their last league match last night. With this win, the Blaugranes have 4 wins and 1 draw from their 5 La Liga games so far this season.

As is usually the case with Getafe, they once again put up a tough defence against the Catalans. However, Ferran Torres stepped up to score two goals for his side in the first half, which made things significantly easier for Barcelona as they got a 3-0 win.

As Mundo Deportivo has reported, Hansi Flick also talked to the press after this game. While expressing satisfaction with the final result, he also expressed worries about some other aspects of the match.

The Barcelona coach was happy with the 3-0 win:

Three points, 3-0, everything is fine…”

However, he was worried about one of his players, Fermin Lopez, who suffered an injury in this match:

“I’m not like this because of Fermín, he’ll have tests tomorrow and we’ll see.”

Hansi Flick once again complained about the tough schedule:

“It’s also not easy to play and prepare matches every two or three days. For everyone, it was a tough game. Now I need to relax little by little.”

When asked about Getafe’s physical style of play, the German coach did not want to comment on it:

“I only focus on my team. When there’s a situation on the field, it’s like I want to protect my team. But the important thing is that I’m always focused on my team. I don’t care about the opponents.”

“The most important thing is how we play as a team. That we control the ball a lot. That’s what matters to me.”

The Barcelona coach was happy that all of his forwards are performing at a very good level:

“It’s very important. We have many matches, every three or four days, and that’s why it’s very good to count on everyone at this level.”

Flick was particularly happy with Ferran Torres’ performance:

“As I said, we are between 25 and 27 players, and we need everyone. For me, it’s important that each one gives their best for our team. Today he did very well, and that’s what we want from him.”

Lastly, the German coach was once again asked to clarify his recent comments about attending the Ballon d’Or ceremony and whether it was a dig at Real Madrid, to which he replied:

“Come on, please… I’m going to show respect. I don’t like these questions. I know you have to ask them, but I don’t like talking about other clubs. I focus on mine.”

With this win, Barcelona continue to stay close to the leaders, Real Madrid. But instead of the next match, most Blaugrana fans will have their attentions set on the Ballon d’Or ceremony as both Lamine Yamal and Raphinha are strong contenders for the award this year.
