Manchester United loanee Harry Amass is showing no signs of slowing down after winning a major award in recognition of his outstanding performances.
Amass has grown from strength to strength since leaving United for Wednesday during the summer transfer window.
Despite Wednesday’s struggles on and off the pitch, he has looked unfazed, nailing down a regular starting berth under Henrik Pedersen. The Wednesday boss has repeatedly spoken glowingly of Amass and his value to the team.
The Carrington academy graduate has made 14 appearances for the Owls. He scored his first professional goal last month during a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Southampton.
United have the option of recalling Amass in January. Unsurprisingly, Wednesday are scrambling to try and retain him for the rest of the 2025/26 season. The Red Devils are understood to want certain terms of the agreement to be amended. United are currently covering the full cost of Amass’ loan stay, including his wages.
A recent report covered by The Peoples Person relayed that Wednesday are growing concerned that rival clubs are eyeing Amass ahead of the winter window.
For Amass, though, the focus remains firmly on his performances – the same consistent level that earned him Wednesday’s Player of the Month award for November.
Wednesday confirmed in a statement, “Harry Amass has been crowned as the club’s Player of the Month for November.”
“The award, in association with mrvegas.com, is voted for by supporters each month and the young loanee has scooped the latest trophy by a landslide margin.”
Amass garnered a mega 82% of the fan vote.
He successfully warded off competition from Barry Bannan and Charlie McNeill, who managed 10% and 6% respectively.
Amass and his teammates are next in action on Tuesday evening when they go away to Watford.
