A 2pm kick-off on Sunday afternoon, down on the south coast.

Newcastle United set to face Bournemouth on their return to Premier League action after a Champions League midweek.

Harry Redknapp talking to BetVictor ahead of Newcastle United playing away at Bournemouth:

“What a start this has been for Bournemouth, despite all the ins and outs over the summer. Iraola does such a great job here. This could be another fantastic season for the club.

“Newcastle gave it a real go against Barcelona but they just ran out of steam towards the end.

“They do miss a little bit of cutting edge up top, it’s hard not to think what might have been if they still had Isak in the side.

“I’m going for Bournemouth, that Barcelona game is bound to have taken something out of Newcastle.

“One to watch – I keep picking Semenyo but he’s one of the form players in the league!

“Prediction: Bournemouth 2 Newcastle 1”

As Harry Redknapp says, a great opening five weeks in the Premier League for Bournemouth.

They did lose 2-0 at home to Brentford in the Carabao Cup but with nine points from four league games, they are fourth top of the Premier League.

Indeed, they deserve to be joint top, as in their opening match they were the better and more threatening team at Anfield. Finding themselves 2-0 down, Bournemouth came back to be drawing 2-2 but Liverpool fluked the win, getting the third goal with two minutes remaining and then another in added time.

Bournemouth though have bounced back from that disappointment to beat Wolves and Brighton at home, whilst in between they went to Spurs and won 1-0.

Newcastle United were well worth at least a draw on Thursday against Barcelona but it wasn’t meant to be.

Now a case of bouncing back and getting a positive result in what is always a tough contest at Bournemouth.

Newcastle United fixtures definitely confirmed dates and times (All of the Champions League matches will also be available to watch on TV in the UK):
