Leeds United reported for pre-season today, with a summer arrival linking up and Ilia Gruev resuming after a knee problem.

According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, the majority of the squad checked in for fitness testing at Leeds Beckett University, seven weeks on from the final match of the 2025-26 season at West Ham.

The club shared a social clip of the arrivals that included a first look at Harry Wilson with his new team-mates after joining on a free when his Fulham contract expired.

Captain Ethan Ampadu was among those pictured, alongside Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Anton Stach, Joe Rodon, Jayden Bogle, Jaka Bijol, James Justin, Sean Longstaff, Dan James, Willy Gnonto, Sebastiaan Bornauw, Lucas Perri and Alex Cairns.

Gruev’s season ended early due to a meniscus knee injury. He shared a recovery update late last month and was always expected to return for pre-season.

As expected, four World Cup players were absent and will come back later, namely Brenden Aaronson, Gabriel Gudmundsson, Noah Okafor and Ao Tanaka.
