Speaking at a golf tournament in Girona, Pep Guardiola was asked about the goalkeeping situation at Manchester City. He told the assembled media that he had told Ederson and Stefan Ortega that he wanted them to remain at the club for next season. Speaking on the pair’s future Guardiola told the media: “I don’t know much about goalkeepers [leaving or joining the club]. I told them [Ederson and Ortega Moreno] to stay. We’ve talked about the situation of the squad, and the two goalkeepers we have will stay.”
