Hauke Wahl ‘to join’ Wolfsburg in €two million move | OneFootball

Sky Germany reports that St. Pauli defender Hauke Wahl is set to join VfL Wolfsburg ahead of next season.

The clubs have agreed a fee said to be around €two million including add-ons, and Wahl will sign a contract until June 2029.

Wolfsburg are reshaping their squad after a surprise defeat to Paderborn in the relegation battle, aiming to get back to the Bundesliga.

Earlier this week they secured the services of Hertha BSC Berlin captain Fabian Reese.

Wahl, a cult figure at St. Pauli, would be the latest addition to their rebuild.
