Celtic will need to shake off a colossal mistake in the first half of their Champions League clash on Wednesday. And quickly.

The Scottish club welcomed Club Brugge to town and gifted the visitors the lead thanks to an own goal.

Central defender Cameron Carter Vickers was pressured by Maxim De Cuyper in his box and tried to pass the ball to goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel.

But his team-mate was well away from the net, and the ball trickled in as the Celtic man immediately put his head in his hands.

Could this be the worst (or best?) own goal of the season already?
