Hearts beat Falkirk 3-0 at Tynecastle Park to stay top of the Championship group, extending their unbeaten league run to five matches.
In the 29th minute, Frankie Kent headed in from Alexandros Kyziridis' cross following a corner. Cameron Devlin doubled the lead with a crisp finish from the centre of the box (34.).
Alexander Schwolow kept the advantage intact before the interval, tipping over Calvin Miller's left footed effort (44.).
Stephen Kingsley came on at half time and Kyziridis struck the bar soon after the restart. Blair Spittal then swept in Michael Steinwender's pass to seal it (86.).
Hearts controlled much of the game with 65.8% possession and 12 attempts. The Bairns managed four attempts, with one on target.
