Hearts manager Derek McInnes for the first time this season has seen his squad strength tested as a combined result of suspension and injuries, mostly hamstring strains or pulls and the most notable player affected is the Edinburgh side’s talisman who is set to miss the next two months of football.
Today McInnes has named the following team and substitutes as he looks to get the better of the third Celtic manager having secured a 3-1 win over Brendan Rodgers in late October at Tynecastle and a 2-1 victory over Wilfried Nancy at the start of December at Celtic Park.
Here’s Derek McInnes speaking to Hearts TV ahead of the game…
Martin O’Neill will be looking to stop that happening and will be looking to close down opportunities for Braga and Kyziridis who are the two danger men in this Hearts side.
The Hearts team is Gordon; Halkett, McCart, Braga, Kabore, Steinwend, Milne, Findlay, Magnusson, Leonard and Kyziridis.
On the bench for Hearts this afternoon are Schwolow, Kent, Kabangu, Stittal, Wilson, Altena, Kerjota, McRntee and Ageu.

Meanwhile Martin O’Neill’s Celtic side this afternoon is as follows:
Schmeichel, Araujo, Trusty, Scales, Tierney, McGregor, Engels, Nygren, Yang, Cvancara, Maeda.
Subs: Sinisalo, McCowan, Tounekti, Bernardo, Hatate, Murray, Forrest, Donovan, Ralston

Kick-off is at 3pm.
