Hearts host Livingston in the Scottish Premiership at Tynecastle Park on Saturday, 3 January 2026, with the leaders aiming to consolidate top spot and the visitors needing points to aid their survival bid.
Hearts won the reverse fixture 2-1 in August and are yet to lose at home this season. Livingston arrive bottom with one win from 19 league games.
The Jam Tarts have taken three wins from their last five league outings, beating Celtic away and Rangers at home before a derby defeat at Hibernian. Livingston are winless in five, with four defeats in that run including losses to Celtic and Dundee United.
The Jambos have averaged two goals per game and kept eight clean sheets, underpinned by 11 headed goals and sustained crossing supply. Lawrence Shankland leads the league scoring chart with 10, while team-mate Cláudio Braga has eight. Livingston have conceded 2.1 goals per game and kept one clean sheet. Jeremy Bokila is their leading scorer with five and Cristian Montano has three assists. Aerial service and deliveries from wide could be a decisive route for the hosts.
A home win would move the Jambos to 44 points and could tighten their grip on first place. Victory for Livingston would take them to 12 points and may trim the gap at the bottom as they look to kick-start their escape.
