Heavy security for Morocco v Ecuador at Metropolitano, around 1,000 personnel deployed | OneFootball

The Government Delegation in Madrid said in a statement that around 1,000 personnel will be deployed to safeguard Friday’s international friendly between the men’s senior national teams of Morocco and Ecuador at the Estadio Riyadh Air Metropolitano, kick-off 21.15.

The operation will involve Policía Nacional, Guardia Civil and Madrid’s municipal police, alongside protection and emergency services, plus the club’s stewards and security staff.

Supporters are reminded that bulky or dangerous items are banned, as are weapons, pyrotechnics, glass bottles and alcohol.

Entry will be refused to anyone showing signs of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

To ease access checks and help the operation run smoothly, authorities advise arriving well in advance.
