Hebburn Town manager Daniel Moore says the club are exploring a second loan for Sunderland academy goalkeeper Isaac Allan ahead of their first National League North campaign.
According to Sunderland Echo, Allan, 20, joined the Hornets after fellow Black Cats prospect Dan Cameron was recalled. He then delivered standout displays before Sunderland brought him back days before Hebburn sealed the title with a 2-0 home win over Rushall Olympic on the final day.
Moore is reshaping his squad to face South Shields, Darlington and Morecambe next season, and made his first signing by bringing in Whitby Town striker Jake Charles on Wednesday.
Moore said they would like Allan back and that he believes the youngster has every chance of a strong career, citing his calmness, mentality and work with and without the ball.
He added that if a return is not possible, he hopes Allan secures a loan in the National League or the EFL, and believes the keeper could progress to a high level over time.
