Lauren Hemp's stunning strike against Manchester United has been shortlisted for November's Barclays Women's Super League Goal of the Month.

The England international’s strike ensured City went in three goals to the good at the break against our rivals.

Picking up play from Kerstin Casparij on the edge of the box, Hemp steadied herself before unleashing an unstoppable drive into the top corner.

It typified an imperious first half display from City, who went on to win 3-0 at the Etihad Stadium.
