Hennes Behrens joins FC Augsburg from TSG Hoffenheim on deal to 2031 | OneFootball

Hennes Behrens has joined FC Augsburg from TSG Hoffenheim on a contract to 2031, the clubs confirmed, adding that sporting director Benni Weber believes the defender already offers Bundesliga experience and fits the team thanks to his physique and footballing ability.

The 21-year-old left-back impressed in the second half of last season while on loan at 1. FC Heidenheim.

Heidenheim were ultimately relegated.

The fee is believed to be around €3.5m, with a further €1m in bonuses.

The move keeps the defender in the Bundesliga.
