Henrikh Mkhitarian signs one-year Inter Milan deal, delays retirement | OneFootball

Henrikh Mkhitarian signed a one-year extension with Inter Milan on Wednesday, delaying any retirement. He was out of contract.

He had floated retiring last summer, while indicating he would stay if the club wanted. "Après l'Inter, j'arrêterai. [...] S'ils ne me mettent pas dehors, je resterai", he told La Repubblica in June 2025.

Mkhitarian, 37, joined Inter in 2022 after spells at Dortmund, Manchester United, Arsenal and Roma.

He has made 187 appearances for the Nerazzurri, winning Serie A in 2024 and 2026.

Last season he played 39 matches in all competitions, starting 22.
