Fans of La Liga giants Real Madrid have on Saturday revealed their collective delight with the form of a leading member of the club’s attacking ranks.

The player in question? Vinícius Jr.

Wide-man Vinícius was for his part back in from the off this evening, as Real welcomed RCD Mallorca to the Spanish capital for a La Liga clash.

This came as reward for a goalscoring appearance off the bench against Real Oviedo last time out.

And safe to say, the Brazilian has since gone on to fully justify the faith of manager Xabi Alonso.

With the scoreline locked at 1-1 during the first-half at the Santiago Bernabéu this evening, Vinícius conjured up a moment of individual brilliance.

After picking the ball up from deep, the 24-year-old drove all the way to the visitors’ penalty area, before dancing into the box, and picking out the far corner courtesy of a fine left-footed strike.

And the significance of as much has not been at all lost on the part of those of a Real Madrid persuasion.

In response to Vinícius’ golazo, droves of Blancos supporters have revealed their collective take that the club’s gifted winger – a regular subject of criticism last season – is now ‘back’ to his brilliant best.
