Hidalgo double powers Toulouse up to seventh | OneFootball

Toulouse thumped Nice 5-1 at the Stadium de Toulouse, climbing from eighth to seventh in Ligue 1 as Santiago Hidalgo struck twice.

In the seventh minute, Santiago Hidalgo finished Aron Donnum's pass to set the tone. Frank Magri doubled the lead on the stroke of half time (45.), teed up by Yann Gboho.

After the restart, Sepe Elye Wahi replied for Les Aiglons (49.), but Hidalgo restored the cushion soon after (55.) from Magri's pass.

Substitute Cristian Casseres added a fourth with a tidy finish (74.). Fellow substitute Julián Vignolo rounded it off late (80.).

Guillaume Restes made five saves to keep Toulouse comfortable. Les Aiglons had 57.4% possession. Toulouse recorded 10 shots on target from 22 attempts.
