Hodge rescues Tondela with stoppage-time leveller after saved penalty | OneFootball

Joe Hodge struck in the eighth minute of second half stoppage time as Tondela drew 2-2 with Gil Vicente, a result that keeps the visitors sixth and the hosts in the relegation places.

In the 15th minute, Rony Lopes curled in from outside the box to put Tondela ahead.

Hugo Félix Sequeira handled in the area (22.), and Murilo converted from the spot (29.) to level.

After the restart, Daniel Figueira kept Gil Vicente in it, denying Agustín Moreira (50.) and then parrying efforts from Luís Esteves (79.) and Gustavo Varela (80.).

Paulo César Peixoto turned to his bench and Joelson Fernandes and Sérgio Duarte arrived (85.). Moments later, Fernandes crossed for Duarte to glance a header in (90.).
