Two youngsters are emerging as important pillars of this Bayern team. Tanikawa, 20, has scored in the last two Bundesliga games after failing to net in any of her first 10 in Germany’s top flight, while 18-year-old Alara got her first of the season in last week’s victory over Wolfsburg.

Can Bayern keep perfect record?

Köln started the season with three defeats but have since picked up seven points from the most recent three matches, showing they have found their feet this term. However, the history of this fixture is very much in Bayern’s favour, winning all 15 competitive meetings with the Billy Goats since the first Bundesliga encounter in September 2015.
