Four Sunderland first-team players are set to depart the club this summer, they have confirmed.
Dennis Cirkin, Niall Huggins, Dan Neil and Bertrand Traoré are all set to depart when their contracts expire.
Cirkin leaves the Black Cats after five years, having helped the club to win promotion to the Premier League.
Neil captained the club back to the Premier League, meanwhile, and made more than 200 appearances in red and white.
Huggins moves on after joining in the summer of 2021, and spent time on loan at Wycombe Wanderers last season.
Traore, meanwhile, has spent just one year at the Stadium of Light, joining last summer.
Under-21 players Oliver Bainbridge, Marshall Burke, Dan Cameron, Thomas Lavery, Elias Lenz, Ethan Moore, Adam Richardson, Rhys Walsh and Jake Waters will also leave the club.
Sunderland say they are in talks with Lutsharel Geertruida about extending his stay, however.
