An insight into the predicted upcoming absence facing Real Madrid star Vinícius Jr. has this afternoon been provided.
The name of wide-man Vinícius has of course positioned itself front and centre in the headlines in Spain’s capital across the day to date.
This comes after word was forthcoming that the Brazilian international has been dealt an injury blow.
As per a statement released across Real Madrid’s website and social media platforms:
‘Following tests carried out today by the Real Madrid Medical Services on our player Vini Jr., he has been diagnosed with an injury to the biceps femoris in his left leg. His progress will be monitored.’
So, just how long are Los Blancos expected to be without their talismanic attacker?
As confirmed by a number of sources this afternoon, the hope is that Vinícius will be back available for selection to boss Carlo Ancelotti in around three weeks.
As much would mean the 24-year-old missing upcoming fixtures against all of Liverpool, Getafe, Athletic Club, Girona, Atalanta and Rayo Vallecano.
