Here at Football League World, we'll take you through the full list of 24 clubs in order of the smallest amount spent on agent fees, all the way to the club that has spent the most on agent fees.

Sheffield Wednesday are 24th when it comes to agency fees and the Championship table. It's not at all surprising to see the Owls spending the least on agent fees, as they've spent just £534,559, which is much lower than the majority of other clubs in the second tier.

They've had their fair share of off-field problems caused by former owner, Dejphon Chansiri, and with spending restrictions in place on the club, their agent fees were never going to be anywhere near the level of other teams.

23 ? ? Blackburn Rovers - £676,980

Blackburn Rovers spent £676,980 on agent fees over the last year, which is the second-smallest in the Championship.

The Lancashire-based side have had a frustrating season to date, and with a lack of significant money being spent on the first-team squad, the Ewood Park faithful won't be too surprised to hear they're not spending much on agent fees.

22 ? ? Portsmouth - £831,818

Portsmouth's stay in the Championship could be a relatively short one, with the South-coast club struggling in their efforts to avoid relegation into League One.

Pompey spent £831,818 on agent fees, and with a club value that is also third-bottom in the Championship, the agent fees match up with the current valuation of the club.

21 ? ? Charlton Athletic - £904,968

The Addicks will be looking to put together a positive run of form between now and the end of the season, and they're in a relatively strong position to avoid dropping back into League One, which would be far from ideal after winning promotion from the third tier last term.

Charlton have spent £904,968 on agent fees over the last year, which puts them 21st on this list.

20 ? ? Oxford United - £1,235,536

Fans of other Championship clubs might be slightly surprised to see Oxford higher than four other clubs, as they're not the strongest in terms of financial muscle.

They spent £1,235,546 on agent fees from February 2025 through until February 2026, and added plenty of talent to their squad over the summer of 2025. With plenty of those being loan deals from some Premier League clubs, it could explain why they're slightly higher in the list than many expected.

19 ? ? West Bromwich Albion - £1,346,030

West Brom have had a tough season on the pitch, and the club's supporters will still be fearful that they could be playing their football in League One next term.

The days of playing in the Premier League are a distant memory nowadays, and the Baggies will need to pick up much-needed points as quickly as possible between now and the end of the season.

The likes of Aune Heggebo and Nat Phillips are just some of those that have added to the club's agent fees paid since February 2025, with West Brom's total agent fees spent at £1,346,030.

18 ? ? Derby County - £1,409,507

Derby County have had their fair share of off-field problems over the years, but they're certainly heading in the right direction under John Eustace's management.

The Rams are fighting for a top-six finish in the Championship, and spent £1,409,507 on agent fees, which puts them 18th on the list when compared to other clubs in the second tier.

Patrick Agyemang and Max Johnston arrived ahead of the 2025/26 season, and Agyemang in particular has caught the eye in his first season in English football, so that deal was certainly money well spent for Derby.

17 ? ? Coventry City - £1,497,990

It's been a season to remember for Coventry City, with the Sky Blues in pole position to win promotion into the Premier League under the management of Frank Lampard.

Coventry are in at 17th on the list when it comes to agent fees, as they've spent £1,497,990, which is significantly lower compared to the agent fees spent from other teams around them in the second tier standings, which makes it even more impressive that they've been able to retain their place at the summit for much of the 2025/26 campaign.

16 ? ? Watford - £1,612,833

Watford haven't been shy in spending money over the years, and even though they lack stability when it comes to their previous managers, they seem to be heading in the right direction with their results on the pitch.

The Hornets spent £1,612,823 on agent fees from February 2025 until February 2026, which puts them 16th on the list for agent fees in the Championship.

15 ? ? Queens Park Rangers - £1,829,036

QPR's spending whilst in the Premier League was sizeable to say the least, and those days of spending seven and eight figures on transfer fees which would inevitably involve hefty agent fees.

They're playing in their 11th successive season in the second tier of English football, and their spending on agent fees has certainly dropped when compared to the days in the top-flight.
