Gunners looking to move six points clear of Manchester City in title race
Arsenal will hope to pile more pressure on Manchester City in an absorbing Premier League title race when they host Fulham this evening.
The Gunners head into Saturday’s all-London clash at the Emirates Stadium sitting back on top of the table and three points clear of their rivals after bouncing back from consecutive league defeats by Bournemouth and City.
Eberechi Eze’s early goal was enough to secure a crucial, nervy 1-0 victory over Newcastle last weekend as Arsenal just about took advantage of Pep Guardiola’s side being in FA Cup semi-final action at Wembley.
Arsenal then went to Madrid in midweek for the tense first leg of their Champions League semi-final tie against Atletico, which is finely poised at 1-1 ahead of the high-profile decider in north London on Tuesday night after no shortage of penalty controversy.

A win over mid-table Fulham today would create a six-point buffer to City, who already have a game in hand and travel to Everton on Monday night.
However, Marco Silva has warned Arsenal that his team are ready to “fight” as they look to cause an upset and boost their bid for European qualification next term, having proven tricky opponents for the Gunners in recent years.
Fulham have lost only one of their last five league games and saw off Champions League-chasing Aston Villa at Craven Cottage last time out thanks to a first-half effort from Ryan Sessegnon.
