Liverpool travel to Eintracht Frankfurt in the Champions League looking to end a recent losing streak.
Arne Slot’s side suffered their first home Premier League loss of the season to bitter rivals Manchester United at the weekend, with the humbling defeat making it four losses in a row across all competitions.
It followed poor domestic showings against Crystal Palace and Chelsea either side of their most recent trip to the continent, when Galatasaray beat them in the second fixture of the League Phase.
Liverpool’s arrival in Frankfurt was delayed by several hours on Tuesday night, leading to their pre-match preparations being disrupted, and it has been revealed that Ryan Gravenberch will join first-choice goalkeeper Alisson Becker on the sidelines.
That said, the visitors may take some solace in the fact that Frankfurt have suffered a similar decline in form lately, falling to seventh in the Bundesliga and winning just one of their last five matches in all competitions.
Frankfurt - the former home of Liverpool forward Hugo Ekitike - did net six in that sole recent victory, though, and scored five to triumph over Galatasaray at home in the Champions League a month ago.
TV channel: In the UK, the game will be shown on TNT Sports 1, with coverage beginning at 7pm BST ahead of an 8pm kick off.
Live stream: Fans with a subscription have the option to stream the match live online via the Discovery+ app and website as well.
