Reds out to return to winning ways in Turkey
Liverpool take on Galatasaray in their second Champions League fixture of the campaign at RAMS Park in Istanbul.
The Reds needed a last-minute winner from Virgil van Dijk to defeat Atletico Madrid on matchday one in a dramatic 3-2 victory at Anfield.
Gala, meanwhile, were thrashed 5-1 by Eintracht Frankfurt in their opening European game.
Arne Slot’s side were beaten 2-1 in stoppage time by Crystal Palace last weekend, as Eddie Nketiah’s late strike claimed all three points for the FA Cup winners, who recorded their second straight win over the Premier League champions this term, having beaten them on penalties in the Community Shield.
Now, Liverpool are out to right the wrongs of the weekend, and they travel to Turkey with a full-strength squad, minus Giovanni Leoni, who was ruled out for the season with an ACL injury.
Their Super Lig opponents have rushed back star striker Victor Osimhen, who had previously suffered an ankle injury on international duty with Nigeria.
