Recent form

Ten wins from his opening 15 matches as Chelsea head coach is a good start for Liam Rosenior. The former Strasbourg head coach has the Blues in fifth place in the Premier League, three points off Manchester United and Aston Villa after defeating the latter 4-1 last week. The west London side also find themselves in the FA Cup Quarter-Finals after overcoming Championship side Wrexham 4-2 in extra-time.

PSG had to overcome AS Monaco in the Champions League play-offs, but have been inconsistent in Ligue Un, with defeats to Rennes and Monaco sandwiching victories over Le Havre and Metz. They currently sit top in France, only one point ahead of second placed RC Lens.

What’s been said?

Liam Rosenior on relishing the challenge against the current Champions League holders: “I think PSG were so good last year. Obviously I was here in this country witnessing them go through their journey to win the Champions League and I was admiring it. When you have success, people want to knock you down and that’s normal, that’s a part of life.”

Luis Enrique calls for cool heads from his PSG players: “We’re in a crucial period of the season. There’s really no need to talk about mentality or motivation because they’re there. Excessive motivation is a problem. That’s one of the things that I’ve seen a lot over many years when these type of matches come around. That’s what we’ll be trying to manage.”
