Recent form

Real Madrid are in good recent form but suffered a blow in their most recent game, losing 2-1 to Mallorca in La Liga. They are now seven points behind Barcelona with only eight games remaining.

Bayern Munich are in excellent form and last lost a game on January 24. They are certainly one of the heavy favourites to win the Champions League this year but will need Harry Kane fit and firing, and he is a doubt for the game.

What’s been said?

Real Madrid manager Alvaro Arbeloa: “Bayern are having an exceptional season. We know just how much they’ll push us on the pitch. Our history with Bayern is always special. The Santiago Bernabeu is set for another great Champions League night.”

Bayern Munich manager Vincent Kompany: ““We have to prepare for the best version of Real Madrid, the one that played against Man City. They’re still one of the best teams in Europe. It’s probably the toughest away fixture in the Champions League. We want to win here. Everything will matter tomorrow.”
