Recent form

Wolves are in better form than they have been for much of the season, and will be buoyed by their 2-0 win over Aston Villa.

They have won two of their last four games in all competitions. Relegation still looks all but confirmed, with the club 14 points adrift of safety, but Rob Edwards will be hoping they can end the season on a high.

Liverpool are currently fifth, and very much pushing for a Champions League qualification. Top five may be enough for a Champions League place this season, but even still they are just three points behind Aston Villa.

What’s been said?

Wolves manager Rob Edwards: “In the Premier League, anyone on their day can give anyone a run for their money and anyone a game.

“We are showing that at the moment, but this is a different game now. It’s a different game to when we played them last time, it’s a different game to Friday night. To threaten these teams and to compete, we have to be at our best.”

Liverpool manager Arne Slot: “When I watch other leagues, I don’t think there’s so much emphasis on set-pieces. Do I like it? My football heart doesn’t like it. Now, most of the games I see in the Premier League are not a joy to watch. But it is always interesting as it is so competitive and everyone can beat everyone.”
