Real Madrid star Trent Alexander-Arnold has turned heads across social media on Tuesday evening.

This comes after the defender was met with a heavy round of boos and jeers upon emerging onto the pitch at Anfield.

Alexander-Arnold has of course returned home tonight, making the trip to Merseyside for Real Madrid’s Champions League showdown with Premier League champions Liverpool.

The England international departed the Reds for Spain’s capital over the summer, following the expiration of his contract.

And the Liverpool faithful have evidently still not forgiven TAA for as much, as evidenced by the reception afforded to the 27-year-old by his former club’s supporters upon his emergence onto the pitch at Anfield:

Alexander-Arnold, though, appeared entirely unbothered by as much, with his immediate reaction to the boos showcased below:

Real Madrid’s free agent summer addition may actually not see the pitch following the opening whistle at Anfield.

This comes with Alexander-Arnold, amid his ongoing recovery from a hamstring injury, having been left on the bench by manager Xabi Alonso.

Federico Valverde, instead, has been chosen to fill the right-back role in Los Blancos’ XI.
